Velocity Venture Capital kicked off its 6th annual Entrepreneurs Showcase Fall Accelerator program with an Epic Office Hours event that connected more than 60 technology startups with 25+ investors for rapid fire mentoring and networking sessions.
The campus came to life with eager entrepreneurs looking to generate investment interest and collect feedback on their companies. Mentors/investors were excited to gain insight into talent, energy and deal flow brewing in the Sacramento/Northern California ecosystem.
Qualcomm Ventures’ Gareth Keane helped kickoff the event alongside of Velocity’s Jack Crawford with a short informative discussion about corporate venture investing trends.
In addition to mentor sessions and panel discussion, there were drones flying, a virtual reality demo, and nonstop networking throughout the event.
Following the event and informed by feedback from the event’s mentors, Velocity announced the final selection of the 14 promising technology companies admitted to the 2015 cohort: Biosync- Alert 360, Carbon Flight, Cineshares, CitizenUP, Eze Systems, Forager, Innovation in Progress, Learn Personalized, The Mechanical Bakery, SFVision, Signata, Symsoft Solutions, Talaris Technologies, and WimZr bringing the total number of companies that have participated in the accelerator to just under 50.
