Michael provides counsel and execution support across several areas to Impact and the Fund’s portfolio companies. He has been a co-founder, executive and advisor to technology companies through their lifecycles from conception to their profitable exits. He has also helped billion-dollar-plus business units of Global 2000 companies develop competitive strategies, successfully identify and acquire competitors and achieve sustainable competitive advantages in their industries. Client relationships have included Global 2000 companies such as IBM, GE Capital, and Publicis Groupe as well as privately-held global leaders such as The Agora Companies and Adcor Defense.
Michael is a Partner of Garrison Strategic Advisors, which provides strategic growth strategies and investment capital to early stage technology companies and competitive strategies and transaction counsel to Global 2000 and middle-market companies. Michael is also a Managing Director of Ullman-Bell Partners, which provides financial advisory services in North America, Africa and elsewhere to utility-scale renewable energy projects and other projects with outsized social and financial impacts.
Michael teaches a class in International Business for the MBA program at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business. He is an alumnus of Harvard College, Harvard Law School and Stanford’s Graduate School of Business.
