Dr. John Conley is academic advisor for FinTech to Impact. He completed undergraduate work at the University of Chicago and his Ph.D. from the University of Rochester.From 1989 until 2002 he taught at the University of Illinois, and since at Vanderbilt University. He is currently on sabbatical visiting Microsoft Research. John is co-founder ofthe Association for Public Economic Theory, editor of the Journal of Public Economic Theory. His earlier research was primarily in public economic theory, general equilibrium, and game theory. More recently he has been working on innovation, scientific communication, the science of science, and the economics of information and communications technology.
