As a Venture Partner, Dan works with the management teams at Impact’s portfolio companies and innovation programs. He focuses on strategy and operations improvement to drive growth and strong fundamentals for SaaS and Platform businesses. This often includes positioning, product development, go-to-market, pricing, FP&A and fundraising initiatives.
In addition, Dan advises and provides interim management on venture investments and M&A for the firm’s corporate and family office partners. Engagements include Oracle, Fox Networks, Tribune Media, Gracenote, SapientNitro, and Dolby. Prior to Impact, Dan was at Samsung in Korea and the US working on corporate strategy and M&A for the television and software and service divisions. He is a former management consultant with Accenture, where he provided strategy and execution on consumer and enterprise technology engagements for industry leading clients in media, advertising, and communications.
Dan started his career in economic development, building local cooperatives in South America with the US Peace Corps and Jesuit programs. He has a BA in economics and anthropology from Marquette University, an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, and is a Kauffman Fellow in private equity and venture capital.
